STOCKS AND GOLD UPDATE

 

With the latest stock market slides for Friday and Monday, we are just about down 10% from the high we had on October 9^th. That’s about as much as I thought we would lose. However, we have not yet reached the bottom of the curve, which will happen when the North Node moves into Aquarius on December 18^th. And since we are still in Mars retrograde, when there is typically a slowdown in business, and we’re preparing for a new game next year with Pluto in Capricorn, it’s possible and even likely that the stock market will continue to drop further through the rest of this year and even early into next year.

 

If you’re looking to invest in the stock market, wait a little longer until it’s dropped more. THEN get in. In fact, I would wait until March to buy stocks. By then you’ll see a great deal of difference in values. Why pay more now?

 

On the other hand, gold is headed up. The last spot price I saw was $824 per ounce. Again, we will probably get a near-term gold high somewhere close to December 10-13^th, when Jupiter is in the same place as Pluto, both of them close to the Galactic Center. Could gold go higher next year? It’s possible, and it could go as high as $1000 or even higher in the next year or more. There are certainly many market factors to drive the price of gold up. We don’t know how far it will fall in the meantime, after hitting a near-term high, though considering the situation with the US dollar (even worse!) it may not drop that much before making another run higher.

 

It’s probably too late to get into the gold market for a near-term profit. But you might be able to get in and plan to hold it for a few years and see what happens. If it continues to go up to $1000 per ounce, as it certainly looks primed to do, you will still reap some benefit, just not immediately.

 

Have you noticed the price of oil is edging to $100 per barrel? The last spot price I saw was over $98 per barrel. It won’t be long before $100 per barrel is reached and then passed. Remember that gold will continue up until it reaches a pricing balance with oil of 10 times the price of a barrel of oil (ie $1000 per ounce).
